If you have spots...Spot Shot works great with a clean towel.

keeping carpets clean is one of the biggest pains in the a$s. lets face it, in order to keep it clean you have 1 of 2 options. put a whole bunch of floor mats or something to cover the whole carpet. or dont drive it.
cleaning carpets is also a pain. usually you end up in a ackward posisiton trying to keep a impossible to a impossible stain. the best thing to do is put some carpet cleaner down on, and let it soak for a few mins. then take a srub brush and go to town. then get a shop vac and get all of the cleaner out. then repeat until the whole d*mn thing is up. i worked on a coke stain for about 2 hours one day and finally got it all up. the carpet looked like it had been burnt before i touched it. you can buy a brush to put on a pc, so you dont have to do all the scrubing yourself. which is something im going to invest in. there is one good thing about carpets though. and thats 90% of the time you can get any stain out of the carpet. unlike paint that can be screwed up beyone repair, you can usually bring carpet back from the pits of hell.

This will be the last winter for my current carpet.
I will be putting in a new one next year as soon as everything dries up and the snow/mud is all gone. Really for $120, if you think about it, I spend about $30 a year on carpet cleaning supplies, so, I don't mind putting in a new carpet once every 4 years! Just trying to decide if I should order the factory grey color or a black carpet! |

I use rubber floor mats to keep clean in all my vehicles, no matter how ugly they look.

I had to replace my carpet due to huge coke stains in the back that my wife and kid left while I was deployed last time. Focking drove me nuts trying to clean it and the sh1t never came out.
