sorry to be late i don;t know if anything was ever over bout this but im starting a twin turbo setup NOW, on this i have idea and we are mapping it for tubing and all that good stuff, i agree of yes maybe 1 turbo is better or the same but im doing it for many differnet reasons, cause no one has twin turbo ga and i agree u have to build motor around ur boost setup turboed or supercharged..

You might want to reconsider seeing as how no one on here is running a front mounted unit with one of these yet! |

Even though it's a import you will see people with twin turbo skylines and supras convert to single turbo hell a very few people have done it with a 300zx even though it had dual everything. Do what you want but it's cheaper and more feasiable to do a single turbo. Though do what you want, it would be cool.

i agree with that about the whoole single but i would just like to try it out cause then i wil at least do twins and if im not to impressed take one off and work on other grand am my brother has so we both have a turbo set up, but i mean it is worth a try so if any one wants to do it in future at least there is a half way decent plan to do it.. and the setup will prolly be sts turbo system

You cannot run an "STS style", rear mount, or remote mount turbo system on our cars with twins unless you establish a true dual exhaust. If you go through the headache of modifying the stock crossover pipe and rear manifold then you have actually made the simplistic concept behind it much more complicated than it actually is. These systems work best with stock exhaust manifolds, no Cats, wrapped exhaust, and turbo blankets. How much room do you actually have to work with anyhow? Even two tiny twins sitting in the back of a Grandam would be too much of a hassel for all the plumbing issues. You should really reconsider... |

Remote mount project#2 twin scroll Like I said before, I am running a twinscroll with quickspool wastegate. No lag, no problems (except maybe the tune), and it is way faster than your average twin turbo. Have fun! Last edited by 3800SII; 11-06-2009 at 11:27 PM. |

What is the stock compression, and how low could you go with it to allow higher boost to run a inline twin turbo?

ok well i will keep everyone posted for sure and i know or at least i believe to boost u should lower the compression, so i am lowering it cause my old motor is getting bored, and cammed with race heads... and all that good other stuff but any how yes i am going forth gonna c how exactly to do it i got some ideas but im afraid cause it might crystal ice the oil but i will c
