I don't think you are going to like the bills for the GTR. Feel like stopping by the dealer for your GT-R? Every oil change interval involves also changing of the differential and transaxle fluids. A $2000 US bill each time. + the tranny's are weak, & owners are blowing them up every once in awhile. Don't even think of mod'ing it. Because Nissan is just itching for any excuses to void your warranty. Last edited by Mike Jung; 11-14-2009 at 12:16 AM. |

Like some jewelers with a wedding ring: make sure the piece is inspected every 3/6 months, whatever. Miss one of those appointments, and you're SOL when the rock falls out, regardless of how unnecessary such regular checkups may seem.

Why not a G8 GXP? I'm sure there will be some sitting around on lots still next year. You're pretty much trading in the GTO for a sedan version. SL55/65 but I don't see them as commuter cars or anything. Plus you could probably but a V and another car on top of that for the price of an AMG. |

Unless, you are talking about "used". Dated Nov 11, '09 While Supplies Last: Pontiac says only 16 G8 GXPs left at U.S. dealers (among other things) & 570 G8 GT's left in the US unsold. Last edited by Mike Jung; 11-14-2009 at 05:02 PM. |

What's the insurance cost on some of these "exotic" rides? That includes the Pontiac G8, as far as I'm concerned.....
