Bolt pattern is wrong and offset is too high. And they are ugly.

Do it. Thats the color I wanted to paint my engine block. I don't think they would look bad on a black car.

I thought the grand am used a +45 offset?
what is it if its not?
Ok searched it out, +42 is stock but +45 should be fine. the small amount of difference wont be a problem.

certain funky colors don't look awful on imports. BUT, would I own wheels in those colors? no. too bad he had to paint those stock STi BBS wheels...those are expensive as fock

a nice set of tasteful wheels goes a long way...

You get tired of having bright colored wheels FAST.

Ask me how I know.

Only on some wheels. It depends on if the center bore is correct and how big the holes are. It still isn't correct and places extra stress on the wheel studs. Some people have used 114.3 with no problems, while other have had issues with vibrations and breaking studs. Try it at your own risk.

Ok searched it out, +42 is stock but +45 should be fine. the small amount of difference wont be a problem.

Stock offset if +42mm.... stock wheels are also only 6.5" wide. If you are going up to an 8" or wider wheel you are going to need wider tires as well and you need the correct amount smaller offset so that the center of the wheel stays close to the center of rotation of your steering. Otherwise you end up with wheels either too far in or too far out, an increase in scrub radius, and extra understeer and unpredictable handling.

It's not as simple as "hey this bolt pattern fits, I'm gonna slap these rims on my car". That's what noobs do.

Oh, and that color still looks ghey as hell, even on a black subie. JDM style is not for american cars, and I wouldn't even do that on a japanese car. Just cause they do it in Japan doesn't mean it looks good or that we need to copy them. That's what r!cers do.
