I have a couple of people saying they are checking with their banks but no one has claimed the car yet.

So if anyone wants to contact me with questions there is no buyer set in stone yet.

Sure but KBB cant factor in the value of added parts. I started with a reasonable KBB number then added on reasonable used value of the parts.

The supercharger, upgraded sways and struts, upgraded transmission, headers, (throwing in upgraded radio and subs for free), SLP catback, 6 month old tires, etc.

So I think $5500 is fair for someone who wants the car for the parts or the car as a whole.

I'm not starting a flame war, but aftermarket parts, whether it be performance, or show, add nothing to a car's value. Unless it's collector status, those mods sadly do nothing for a GA's value. Our cars have sucky resale value, and that's that. You'll have better luck selling it to somebody on here, or is a Grand Am/Pontiac/GM enthusiast, but the average person will look at that as uneeded, and be a big turn off towards a sale.

I know you don't have the time, but you would make a helluva a bigger profit parting out the GA, or at least turning it back to stock, sell the parts seperately, then sell the GA as a stock car.

Just sayin'.

there are cars that have body kits and wings and paint and they are asking 10k for theirs........that's where you throw the KBB card at them. But this car is done well and has quality parts where it counts....isn't flashy or anything like that....This car is awesome and very well priced.......

I completely understand the thought processes out there. I just want to keep this a sale thread. They mentioned the KBB price and the took that and added my thought process to it.

I just wanted to explain how i came about my asking price. It takes two to make a transaction. Some people like that price some wont. In the end it is only worth what someone pays for it. At this time no one purchased it yet. Just a few serious inquiries.
