supercharged 3.8 series 2 or 1

I was wondering if a grand am gt can hold a supercharged 3.8 and if anyone has ever done it.

If you're looking to swap one from a Grand Prix, please search. It's been talked about before....

GODDAMNIT.

The L67 is not worth swapping into a damn N-body. Buy a W-body if you want L67 power.

You might need to reinforce the unibody to handle such a boat anchor.

No one in their right mind would want to do it in the first place and even if you did want to you still wouldn't. /thread

L36/L67 swaps into N-bodies are full of fail.

Yeah, this topic has been beat to death. There is no point in doing an L67 swap. Someone lock this already.

This question comes up alot around here. To me it would be a good swap. If it can make a park ave move it can move a grand am.

Uh, no.

That car was designed and setup for the L67, the Grand Am was not. It is the biggest waste of cash as far as modding a Grand Am goes.

Nobody doubts that the L67 makes power- the problem lies in the fact that there is immense amounts of fabrication and custom work to have the car even running.... money and time that could be much better spent just building up the LA1 or swapping in an ecotec.

Very true, but this is something i would like to down the road. If one of my poor friends can swap a Acura TL v6 with 5-speed in a EG civic anything can be done.
