Yeah. I have done searches, and seen some of the funny sh!t that went down back in the day.

I remember looking up some douche with 23" wheels, and Bob owning the fock outta him.

But nothing truelt epic seems to happen now. aside from some funny occurances now and then.

Who is that? I think the guy you are thinking about has a 4.7 w/ a modded engine.

Fock, it's been so long since I've been to that site I don't remember. But I thought he had a Laredo to start with, pretty sure it was red? Meh, I don't know, good chance I'm wrong, I just remember how totally gay the whole concept was. Complete waste of time/money. Plenty of used SRT8's to be had for a song.

It's like buying a Fiero and putting a Lambo body kit on.

I don't understand why we as Americans are so uneducated/undereducated on these clean burning diesel technologies.
Lack of understanding is one aspect, as are emission standards... they just won't sell as much here to make it worthwhile to re-engineer something for such low volume. They at least tried with the diesel Liberty...

Yeah, good point. I respect the technology and would drive a clean diesel vehicle if there were more gas stations that sold diesel nearby. The TDI VWs appeal to me.
I guess we'll just keep pursuing heavy battery packs as our alternative.

Would this of sold better than a Mustang; if they made a left hand drive for the US ?

FPV F6 Typhoon

That EcoBoost engine currently, is like 415 hp at the crank.
(4.0 litre turbo-charged DOHC 24 valve in-line six, the F6 produces a maximum power of 310kW at 5,500rpm and maximum torque of 565Nm across the range from 1,950 to 5,200rpm.)
