After a little more research, I found a bearing that should work out quite well. The bearing is self contained and is speed rated to 26,000 RPM. Now only if RSM would have done a little research, people would have had a reliable kit with decent gains.

Edit: The speed rated bearings are SFK hybrid bearings that use ceramic ball bearings. The part that sucks is the cost. I spoke with a local bearing supplier this week and they are $214.00 per bearing!

Keep us UTD on this man. Especially since I'm getting a GT w/ and SC and other mods and gonna swap them to mine, I'm really wondering how much work it's gonna take (I know it'll be alot) to swap all this stuff around.

I searched for threads on how to install the M62 and on superchargers or sc's and got nothing.

All you other guys w/ SC's can chime in too.

Yeah, boost is going to be fun and I can't wait. Enjoy the magnuson kit, I was hoping he would have sold it separate.... but then again it gives me more drive to get this project done. If only it would start warming up outside.

The machine shop called yesterday and said the parts should be done on Friday.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I will have to wait to get the brackets finished and drive shaft legnth calculated once I get the engine and trans back in the car.

Still waiting for a much needed break in the weather.

The weather is starting to break, I got the ported heads back from WOT-Tech and I need to take the engine to the machine shop to get the coated cam bearings installed.

I pulled the engine harness tonight and I hope to drop the subframe this weekend and clean it up a little before it goes back in. I am getting to the point where I want to slap it back together and call it done, but then again I don't want to short cut it and have it bite me in the ass later.

I got the subframe cleaned up as good as it is going to get. It really wasn't too bad aside from the welds which had minor surface rust. I ended up using a wire wheel on an angle grinder, which worked quite well. I am hoping the weather holds out tomorrow afternoon so I can get a few coats of paint on it.

Once the subframe is back in, I plan to get the suspension in so I can roll it around, install the 4t65e HD trans and axles in and then it is just a matter of getting the engine back together. The drive it for a few months to get the tuning down and work on getting the supercharger finished up.

The project is still on, the subframe and brackets are painted. It should be going back in this weekend with the new steering rack, swaybar bushings, control arms, lowering springs, wheel bearing, PS pump with braided lines, ect. I stopped by Advance Auto yesterday and picked up rubberized undercoating for the frame rails, to prevent any further corrosion on the brake lines/frame rail where the battery sits. It will be nice to have a rolling chassis again, which will feel like major progress.

I was going to put sound deadner on the fire wall, but I am not building the car to be quiet. The plan is to reinstall a new factory sound deadener on the fire wall and call it a day.

In other news, I now have headers... 5 sets to be exact. I ended up getting the last of the S&S headers along with enough prebent pipe to make about 5 more sets. Once I get the car rolled into the drive way, I will be cleaning out the garage and putting some things up forsale.
