Opinions on headlights

I have been debating for a long time on what I should do with my headlights. I want HIDs but I also didnt really want to just put HIDs in my stockers. I ran into these which sounds like they got HIDs that come with the projectors. What do you guys think? Good quality/choice?

Whatever you do, don't put HIDs in non projector housings.

If you're willing to spend a little more money and have a good amount of patience, I say attempt a retrofit. Since the projectors in the eBay headlights are made for halogen bulbs, you'll see a huge difference going with a real HID projector.

so even the projectors on ebay that "come with HIDs" arent real HID projectors?

Actually both of the eBay ads referenced make it clear that they come WITH an HID kit ALREADY INSTALLED in high beam location. Appear to be a pretty good deal, less than what I paid for a similar setup for my Malibu. Go for it!

They're not true HID projectors. They are meant for halogens and just have an H1 conversion kit included with them. The output will be significantly better than stock housings, but not as good as a real HID set-up.

They'd have a high quality projector like those found in factory-equipped HIDs and a bulb size such as D2S or D2R

So now if u cut it to fit them lights in can you still get your stock lights back in if you wanted to? I just do not know how extensive the cutting is to make them fit but I really like them lights.
