spring pics and mods

Finally got some new rubber on my 17's Falken ziex ze-912's 235/45/17 from UWD. Shipping was fast and the tires handle excellent as far as I can tell. I'm going to doing auto-x with these on the 24th so I'll post results after.

I had a slide pin stick and chew up my D/S rotors so I got some new blanks in the front while I had the wheels off.

I plan on doing the drum to disc conversion this summer along with a GT conversion. I have a GT rear bumper already and a SC/t spoiler in the mail. I'm going to try to get a GT front bumper from a j/y along with some sideskirts and ribs.

I also have a flowmaster 80 2.5" cat-back series set-up going in next week depending on when I pick out and receive tips. I am eyeing some porsche 997 turbo tips on E-bay that I think would fit the cut out in the GT bumper nicely.

Taillights I have not decided on yet and as for headlights I was thinking black projectors with some 8000K HID's.

I'd like to do paint sometime this summer but that might wait till next spring depending on what I have time for.
I'll be updating this thread weekly as parts come in and things get installed.

Damn, looking good.

You're close by, we should meet up. A couple of my friends are starting a domestic V6 club.

I'd stick with your current headlights and go with stock GT tails. Looks pretty good though.

Is that whats under the door trim on all 99-05 g/a's? Without seeing the front and back bumpers it looks more like the alero. I might have to fill that when i put my side skirts on. Nice car, very plain mannered, just how most on this site prefer. I Like the black altezza's for tails. Look nicer than the led but id have to say the stocks do look nice tinted. I like the oem headlights too. wish i could find some clear corners tho. The 10k 35w hid kit from ddm is awesome. i dont get how it can be so cheap and look so nice! Good luck w/ your build!

If you weren't going GT, I'd say go with the newer +03 SE bumpers.

I really like the look of the GT. The +03 SE's look a bit too much like alero's to me.

It's been a good day I also got this bad boy delivered an hour ago

I'm debating wether to go with a glass pack or not. The videos on youtube make it hard to judge because some people put the camera way to close to the car and it just sounds like crap. Any opinions?

Thanks! Tails are probably going to be one of the last things I take care of but I agree the black altezza's do look nice.

Where could I find this ddm kit? I'd really like some HID's.

At one point that was the plan. I wanted to do it all in satin black. but then I decided against it.
