I agree, painting my interior gauge bezel and radio trim was THE WORST mistake I have ever made with a vehicle.

After a while it is annoying, and you realize just how terrible and ricey it looks.

Mine were blue when I bought the car, I have since changed them to black, and I'm seriously considering either swapping to stock or repainting flat black/charcoal.

It CAN look okay in black, but I'm already sick of mine, and I really don't have much painted

my white was easy as hell to clean, every couple weeks just took a wet rag and wiped everything down then coated the whole interior with armorall

I find nothing wrong with painting interior pieces as long as it's not over done and you pick a good complementing color and stick with a color scheme. Mine was red for years and didn't really bother me, but I did end up deciding to change it. Mainly I think it was a tad too bright and I painted too many pieces red. Sometimes less is more. I switched it to two tone gray and black because I wanted it to match the steering wheel and the seats I plan on getting, and it looks a little more subtle.

I wish people would understand that this applies to almost everything.

Yeah, I get annoyed when I see people taking every little piece they are able to remove and painting it. Like the people that even paint the rings around the A/C vents... it's just too much and looks tacky. Some things should not be made to stand out but should blend in instead... trick is knowing what to make stand out and what not to.

Completed door panel

Don't have any of the completed dash, well because it's not done..The A pillars are on, the high beam wires are tucked. the center console is in, but needs pulled again to be repainted. The radio bezel need's to be painted as well..I like it, and that's what matters...
