If you are replacing struts, you might as well... You'll already have the springs off

Sorry, just saw this.

I'm just assuming the quickstruts are 'better' cause they were designed as a set. The reason KYB wouldn't warranty my first set of front struts was because they said the eibach's weren't a good match and would cause too much 'pogo', which would lead to premature failure. Tirerack warned me about it before my purchase but stood by there products and replaced the KYB's for me. So that was my first lesson about throwing together a suspension, but I was on a short time schedule, and there weren't really any other alternatives at the time anyways.

IMO, the eibach/kyb combo just isn't that good of a ride. I've had a few other OEM and aftermarket suspensions that performed better but weren't as rough. I don't know how to describe it...a stiffer ride but better damped?? So you had the control without feeling the impact of every expansion joint in the road, if that makes sense...

Time will tell what I think of the quickstruts. I'm little worried that they will be too soft due to the fact that the grand am replacement is the exact same quickstrut as the malibu replacement. So were they designed for a chevy ride, a pontiac ride, or a Monroe-determined ride??

And yes, I know you used to live in this area. At least I'm assuming you were the Aaron that used to live around here. You used to have a big metal wing, right?
