my dad has 65 GTO too. o my god that car is awesome. i cant wait until i actually have time to learn to drive stick, then he will actually let me use it for special occasions. i think he is losin his mind cuz he never would say he would let me. but his is almost the same color as the one in xXx. it needs a little bit of engine work but the car is overall amazing. wat a great deal. congrats!

we use to have a 65 and a 66 GTO but unfortunatly we wrecked the 65 and an oak tree fell on the 66

I loved the car but to me and my family it was our unicornwtf (fable creature,unable to capture)wtf you know like the 67 shelby mustang on gone in sixty seconds!

same deal with us so we just gave it up!

I've seen what you do to tires with a v-6!!! ahem, avitar..... What is this thing packing? Looks liek the 400 I had in my 67 Bonneville convertible. Nice correct Pontiac blue painted engine block too...

Looks good man, I bet you dad has fun driving it.

My friends uncle owned a '65 LeMans drop top. Mostly original with low miles on it we used to take it out to shows and local cruisins. Pretty cool driving around teh college bars in down town Albany and hearing all the positive remarks. We actually thought about splitting the cost and buying it. But he's since sold it.
