^ just test them.. i have experience with both sides.. more now with mms cause he can do things like obDII swap and stuff but with manifolds u should just flow them and record it with everything and see wat happens

Why? All I have to do is tell you my parts are gasket matched and that they flow 1-2% of each other on a flowbench. I would be lying though because they aren't matched, and they aren't that consistant. The stock castings aren't consistant enough for the 3400 engines to do 1-2% without spending a week or 2 alone on the bench trying to match them.

I would rather compare results. My sportsman series against the stage 2 MMS stuff any day.

That would be cool if some results showed up so people really knew the differences.

I give this thread 10-15 more posts before Fab saves the day with random hilarious pictures...which will have more to do with the original topic than the current posts do.

By the way, Business Ethics, a class most of you should take at some time. Stealing someone's design, whether it is patented or not, is Ethically Wrong.

So I give great props to Ben and Mike for standing behind their products and refusing to listen to the filth posting in this thread.

I'm sure glad we got something resolved here....Not! You know I started this post for a possible explanation and it didn't get me any closer to buying from either one of these guys. For now I guess I will just stick with what I have and put my money some where else that needs it.

You don't have enough information to use manifold flow in any possible manner. Peak or average, its all useless information to everyone but the guy that does the rest of the numbers to use them. That is me. If you want the benefit of this research, you can do it yourself, or you can buy my parts. Otherwise, your guess is as good as theirs.

It is fairly common in business to obtain one of your competitors products for evaluation and comparison. Since neither 'manufacturer' has done this, and there is no independent testing, the entire issue is a pointless argument. Nobody knows who does 'better' at this point in time so there is also no valid choice to make.

G.I.Ceo - Save your manifold money for something better, exhaust headers would be good...

Vegeta - Prove your product is superior and it WILL sell itself...

Actually, he has tested Milzy heads, as shown in the link he posted, so that is an incorrect statement. And I do believe I've already said that once in this thread.

Probably not, but....

Didn't both those cars run unusually fast before mods were done to them?
As in "factory freaks?"

Not to take anything away from the skill needed to get them up to that level.

no one hsa attempted it since then. everyone has been goin the boost route. im the closest to a "full stage 2" with wot tech parts and other mods, HOWEVER i have 3500 heads and they are not ported. havent been to the track yet. hopefully soon. excuse me blackchill or whatever his name is is heavily modded to but idk if hes been down the track either

Wow, nice to know Im still in the game a little... I had a block done last fall and ran the 14.1 just after at that trap speed, but it was my old tune on it. I just wanted to give it a run to see how it felt. Ive got a new set of rubber on the car and really want to get t to the track and see if I can't finally take that spot.
And completely stock I ran a 15.2 @ 88 I think it was. That was in 02. 03 ran a 14.9 with down pipe and CAI. A 14.8 when exhaust got done w/ HPTuners self tune. Then did the MMS build a couple years later. Every year I get a little quicker. Ive got the trap speed, if I get a decent launch I think Ill get it this year.
