it might be a nice thing to have, but can it really do that much?
having a lower UIM temperature seems like a great idea, but the air passing through can hardly be getting warmed that much anyway.
probably the best thing that a spacer can do would be to lengthen the intake runners a bit.

geldartb has made plenty of valid pointsgeldartb has made plenty of valid points
ive got a set of 1 1/4 ones i was using with the 3400 uim and the car felt the same to me.

now i have 1/2 ones with the 3500 uim and it still feels the same VS just running the 3500 uim. i just don't feel like pull the upper off to take them off.

honestly the intake is going to get hot regardless. the only way to truly find out if there is a temp difference is to do some testing with and without the same day. ill save you the trouble since the numbers will be the same.

the only way i noticed a reduction in temps was wrapping my air intake with reflectix. granted i didn't go as far as this guy did but i did notice a lower and more stable temp from the IAT.

You to parts ways with the one for the 3400? Taking the UIM is very easy to do and takes me like 15 minutes to do so it's really no big deal.

like i said NOT WORTH IT the only reason y it is WORTH HAVING a TB spacer IF u running a shot of nitrous through ur intake and that is the perfect spot to drill out a hole for it but other then that NOT worth it wat so ever.

Dude, learn to read. They are talking about an Upper intake spacer. NOT A TB SPACER. Geez man.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Thats why those are called THROTTLE BODY SPACERS. And these are called plenum spacers.

Nitrous shot after the MAF sensor? I don't think that would be the best spot for it...............
