holy chet! This could probably be the reason for a cowl hood being made for the grand am!

Ask him exactly how much time and money he invested into this project!

dude, what are you talking about? those pics show that he did figure it out.
are you talking about waiting to see this on an N-body?

i hope i never see an n-body stoop that low, UNLESS it is a dedicated track build.
i'd hate to see a kid with a g a do that to a car that sits in a college parking lot.

.....you guys are getting so excited over this, it has been done to cavalier and beretta's with 3400 swap a ton of time....the problem being with our vehicle is you would need a rediculously large hood scoop and it would look retarded.....

i have full intentions on doing this but im going to make it so it's removable so if i want to drive around all normal looking i can.

theoretically it's just the S/C bolted to the flat plate welded to the UIM and pulley/belt system. so if you want to go back to normal mode all you need is a spare UIM setup and a belt.

still got my stock hood i can cut a hole in also. i wanted to see if i could fit the m90 where the ac compressor sits but i don't think there's enough room.

mines not dedicated track built and it's about as low as it's going to get. currently have H&R springs on it now. my car sits inside 99% of the time plus i have a beater to drive so. something the few people who have done the m90 on top of the UIM mod haven't done is make a scoop.

once i get this mocked up i want to try and make a scoop. i know the guy who did it to the Beretta Z26 awhile back tried to make a scoop but his stood well over 6" above the hood and killed his line of sight.
