Who works for the Air Force? Just snatch the intake off the underside of an F-16 or order one through Fed-Log. Tell them it's for an R&D project.. .

sorry, i didn't mean lowered ride height. what i meant was it looked tacky, lower class (stoop so low)

if you remove the A/C, there's going to be room for it down there, but how are you going to mount it? i just didn't see a way to make it sturdy enough.
but in all fairness, i live in florida and didn't give it much thought after i realized that i'd absolutely have to remove the a/c

no i actually seen this post, and decided since you didn't add a qualifier to that picture about it's speed, that i'd toss one in, much like you guys all do constantly.

I really don't see anybody doing this, especially when they find out they can't afford to pay someone to weld up an adaptor for the intake manifold, etc.

Even then if someone does do this, someone will proclaim OMGZ, so sick dawg. I think it's time to try to get a group buy, can you make a kit, along with a hood, along w/ all tuning necessary that you haven't figured out at all?!!?!?!?!?!?!

I wonder what a complete build with this type of set up would run in the quarter mile. I think its a good step forward for the 3400. Despite what the aleroboy says........if it runs good then who gives a **** about how the big cowl hood needed to cover the super charger. It don't look that bad......

agreed. there are generally two types of mod people.

1> function over form.
or
2> design and smooth finished product above all else.

like it said, generally.. that's what you get, the ultra sleek and pretty, or the kind of gritty, sorta ugly, mean, nasty, snarling beast of a vehicle. i'm good with either but i don't get why people argue over that so much.

Jesus, he is in Scott county. That is where I live. I wonder if I could test drive it with no intention of purchasing it. I bet in that light of a car it moves pretty good. Not a chance I would do that though.

Why Not Modify Your Own M62!

If you have one already its easy enough to bend the intake and discharge of the S/C out of sheet metal or stainless steel. They sell the extended shafts correct length right on the Magnacharger website. The two aluminum mounting brackets are not that hard to figure out.

I would think rather then doing all the work that that guy did on those pictures (Which was cool to see and fine for his car), if you have a Grand Am you could do same amount of work and keep it under the hood.
