It's a hobby and that (insert dollar amount here) is stretched out over a period of time so it doesn't bother me one bit.

I'd rock a AE86 if I could find one, or a rx7.

its a SR5 not a GTS, but still a good start at a RWD project to beat around in.

thats too much of a stretch for the wheel fitment hes running. thats actually pretty ugly when it comes to good fitment and tire stretch. tire stretch is actually a bit functional when it comes to sliding the car around. stretching the sidewalls tight keep them from flexing and rolling alot when your going into slides. all though on high speed setups and higher HP cars they do not allow for enough traction and usually are better for the lower powered cars like that corolla. alot of the cars we track are running 265 -285 out back and 245 to 275's up front. anything smaller and the cars are like driving on ice at decent speeds.

did you include any cost of machine work or assembly work for the motor itself?

Yeah, um... that hachi is ugly! Wheels and tires do not fit it properly. Not only is it not functional, it looks retarded.

If you believe its that easy then proceed.... cause I was running 11:1 comp and it was way more than needed and I take it your planning on decking the block and/or the heads to hit that number or are you stroking it? cause just boring the block is not gonna give you the #'s you want.

no dangerous is trying to seat the beads on the super stretched tires! starting fluid and fire makes it go boom and seat . we stretched a spare tire onto a 15x7 wheel almost blew ourselves up
