Now, any higher K output with a 55W bulb, you're causing major issues.

It's just that the light pattern on the road still sucks.

I can't argue you on that. But it's better than a halogen. That's what I gotta deal with for having these headlights though, and I'm already well beyond used to them.

So my best bet is to get projectors with a HID kit in it already. Or should I try and see if the HID kit i have will work in the projectors???

The new projector headlights take a H3 or a H1 bulb depending on which one you buy. Your bulb from your current headlights will not work so you will have to get a new kit.

^Exactly. That's why I said it won't work if you get projectors. They use a different type of bulb, so you'll have to get a new HID kit either way.

I didn't know that Gene. I thought all came w/ H1's. I was wondering if I could mod them to fit 9007's so you could use Silver Star Ultras

It would take alot of work to mod them to fit another bulb, besides that most of the projectors out there will have 4 bulb system instead of 2. You will have separate low and high bulb. the 9007's are a hi and low in one bulb.

i had projectors with HIDS in them but it requires a lot of cutting of the headlight bracket behind it. i thought they weren't going to fit so i got different projectors idk why, and the projector light sucked but just got HIDs from /www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-35W-or-55W and i love it heres what they look like now
![]() it may look like alot of glare but there really is none i was at a very low angle to get the color of them |
