Wow, I wish I could have seen the video, sounds like it was really worth while! My old Grand Am ran a mid 13 quarter mile. You think your faster? Not sure how you outran a real Mustang let alone a GT. Maybe he did not realize you were trying to race. Or he did not want to waste the gas. Not saying the Stang is fast but it is faster then your car. That is not an "S" for real is it. I think you are a little nuts. I posted a video of an 11 second run on stock street tires. Let me know when you can get into the 13s.
I like the color. Like the car, don't care for the driver though. Came in here with a chip on your shoulder. You need to let things roll. Life is to short to be an as$hat. |

@ Red: Okay there is like two people on this site with a manual transmission swap [on their GT] SORRY! And you're right, who cares about Vtech? I don't even have a landline phone!
@ "not much better than the GA" comments: Stock - i agree. But there is much more potential in the RSX. It'd be a different story if this was a B engine. But its a motha ****ing K engine!! ![]() Quote:
![]() And again, i posted that video for PERSONAL reasons(so i could hear my exhaust on the outside for once) Lolooloolool I know you can't drift in FWD car, let alone 4 inches of snow Wasn't that a G8 though? Oh and i will..close to it N/A Last edited by B Weezy; 02-19-2011 at 05:07 PM. |

What list of mods, and what year (give or take) did you run. If it was a GT and a guy driving it, chances are, he at least has an intake.
Thing is, You can turbo, port, tune... that car to make it a street legal MAYBE 13 second car. Mine was 12.9 out of the box. 11.9 with bolt ons no headers even. If I cam the car, I will run 11.2s all day long. I have looked into the car. Again, I like your car. It is not an S. It is a 160HP base with some bolt ons. That 40HP difference is a lot. Don't make a car something it is not. It is cool you own the car. I even had a mid 9's DSM at one time. No telling how many hours it takes to keep it running so that was short lived. I have done the fast Jap car. So I am not dogging the car. But there are a bunch of differences in the S and your car. According to MT mag a stock RSX built in '02 which is what you have is 160HP producing a 0-60 time of an amazing 7.4 seconds. 1/4 mile in... wait for it.... 16.1. Not sure where that stands on a car like the Grand Am which weighs more and has only 10 more HP. Lets say you have a header, tune, intake, and removed interior. You are up to a 15.3 or so. Not sure of too many Stangs that run slower then that. Even from a roll, I am not sure that an automatic even if it did not downshift would not have beat you by at least a car length. I ran a 15.2 with Headers and intake ONLY on the Grand Am. The tune to the same options gave me a 14.6 ![]() When you can get a 2 ton car to get 0-60 in the 3 second range, then we can talk. |

I need more pics to decide for myself. Your pics are vague, and show nothing other then the color. 1 shot with and 1 shot without a spoiler. A video that was here then gone. It all seems fishy. So what is your best run in the I-Vtec on the K20A2 engine? Take a pic of the 6-speed, one under the hood with a note and your screen name so we know its your pics. I want to see your mods that make you mad fast too.

I had to drive a car like this one time for a female friend to diagnosis a problem with it. Not a bad car but defiantly something a girl drives more then a guy. I was in fact happy to get back into my grand am when I was done with that damn car. Much respect for modding it but coming onto a Grand Am forum looking for people that like that car. Wasn't exactly your brightest idea. Do everyone a favor and go back onto the RSX-S supporter forums please.

HAHA, btw it's a Mustang, not a Rustang, asshat. And I actually drive a 97 Honda civic 5 speed now, at least I know its slow, and only a DD for MPG, so you enjoy your 3000lb brick of **** you think is "sporty." And if you really want to get into it, I guess I can get the old "gutless" cutlass out of storage and show you a lot lower than 15 seconds some time this summer, and I assure you the gutless refers to the no interior besides the racing seat, not the performance. But really, what did you expect posting that you bought an Acura, a congratulatory cake? Maybe a parting gift, or a shower of praise over your purchase? BTW, you can pack up your **** and move along to the RSX forums now.. At least post some more photos of said purchase so we don't assume you into the same category as Zuki.. I don't doubt you own an RSX. I asked for a few specific pictures to prove the S part. Nice try though. |
