Actually if you were an S you would be 200 stock. and the Grand Am GT is 175 stock. A Grand Am FULLY loaded weighs 3,070 lbs. 2,840 is what the RSX Brochure says about your car. So the difference of about 230lbs. Go back to my post about the non "S" car and compare that to even the 2.2L Grand Am and the RSX is not as fast or nice in any catagory. The S and the GT are pretty similar in stock form. Except the RSX is smaller. Less head room, leg room, shoulder room, storage space... All for the 230LBS. Still. Like I said in my first post. I like the car enough. Not what I would go out and buy. Holds the same kind of value as a Grand Am. But for a $4000 car it is not bad.

I did the reverse of you. Took my wifes 2.4L G5 GT, got rid of the ground effects because she did not want them, then she wanted more power so I added the LNF 2.0 SC system off the SS Cobalt (Wish I had done the TC swap but this will hold up for years to come). So I made her GT into a base model and added power. It runs a 13.8 in the little 4 banger all for $2200. But I did not take a base and try to make it a GT.

And I can't speak for Aaron, but his is a quality build. You can strap a 300 shot on a Vette and have a fast ass ride, does not mean it will last. His is quality and I would take that most any day.

I would suggest taking a different approach before you are banned

^To add to that, he dose say at the wheels also. I have an 18% power loss to my wheels. So he really is making over 300HP, just not at the wheels.
