No it doesn't. I didn't buy or use a tune made by someone else. I programmed my own computer setup using a laptop with DHP, ICCU for on the go fuel adjustments & Dynojet Wideband Power Commander to monitor AF ratios. My car wasn't stock when I added the supercharger so my programming wouldn't work.

alright... ive been wanting to supercharge the grand am for a while now! I have the cash in hand and am ready to put it down, but im wanting to know what are the negative to the RSM charger, or in other words why hasnt this damn thing sold yet? Ive heard numerous complaints about bearing going bad??? Is this kit a safe buy for me? Why isnt it saught after as much as the Eaton kits... Thanks guys!

Quote:
RSM original kit had some shaft issues... They worked them over the years to be more durable. RSM itself became douchebags over the years. Magnacharger discontinued their kit. The Eaton Kit as you'll see from searches had a stronger shaft design, simply more stout. BUT, I raced a member in outside the US with my Eaton Kit and found that he could topend me. Bolt-ons to bolt-ons with the RSM. He started to walk out at 115MPH+. The kits need routine maintenance, it's questionable as to if this was done by all owners... I changed my SC oil every 10k miles, and put a lot of miles on the setup with no problems. The RSM has a cooler idle sound like a normal vortech, the Eaton has the whine sound to top end. Real street performance will depend on supporting mods, and HEATSOAK. The Magnacharger needs some spray - especially in the summer/track heat to work to full potential - n2o or Alky. RSM ran cooler temps overall as I remember. Magnacharger should be cheaper overall... But at this point, for this vintage car, the options are not great. I would buy the RSM today and not look back, and make sure it was well maintained, and oiled at all times. Get headers, CAI, and some spray.... These cars were never cheap to build out, it is no different today. Good Luck.

Man, that took a long time. Good to hear you finally got it sold though. I hope if I ever sell mine it doesn't take that long.
Only reason I really would was if I needed the $ badly in which case I probably couldn't wait 4 years.
