valve covers will fit they are the same as 3400 ones minus a few things which have nothing to do with how they fit the heads.

What did you do to the tranny when you rebuilt it? how much are you asking for just the tranny? I won't have mine dropped for a few months, but depending on price, could bring mine for trade.
