went back and looked through the pics. the headers look good.
i like the all v-band setup sure beats the hell out of screwing around with the 3 bolt setup. i gotta take mine off soon and do some v-bands to get rid of the crappy doughnut setup. |

I do agree that the V-Band is a much better set-up. I too have the donut setup on the collector pipe that brings the front and rear together. Lucky for me that I had a buddy of mine find me a all metal donut gasket so I never again have to worry about it going bad.

yeah, they arent my first choice either, they are a bit ugly, but they work well as they are multilayer steel.

did anyone else get O2 sensor bungs anywhere on their headers or exhaust tubing?? what are we supposed to do about this?? the discription even says "extra O2 bung for wide band" , which I need - but I don't even have the first one... there is an after cat one on the down pipe but my down pipe has no cat!! what's up with this??

Yeah, unchained emailed me about the same issue with his. I was kinda surprised he didn't post up here about it yet. He emailed me pics and I didn't see any primary O2 sensor bungs anywhere either. Only the post cat one, which many people delete anyway. Other than that the construction and coating looked great. Just that one oversight. Easiest fix for this would be to add two O2 bungs (one on either side) to the down pipe section right behind the flange that connects to the rear header. It's easier to get to the sensors in that position, and that way you don't have to mess up the coating on the headers. The DP is stainless steel so you can just have two stainless bungs welded on. Then you have one for the primary and one for the WB O2. Since they were advertised as being included as part of the headers I would say Milzy should fix them for you, especially considering the price of those things. See if you can send the DP back to have them added, or if he will reimburse you to have the work done locally. That is my suggestion.

I for one am not a fool. And these are the only headers available unless you want pacesetters. Or spend Over 2 grand for stainless one off set. The merge is done well. And the larger crossover adds volume that isn't present in others headers. Milzy offered to fix them and I just got back from vacation and I haven't sent the downpipe back yet I offered to have it done here and get a refund on the parts and welding. He didn't seem to want to do it I sent a PM to Jon awhile ago and haven't gotten an answer Idk if I am installing these on my stock motor or the one I am gathering parts for as of yet. With getting a 4t65e hd rebuilt and the S/C rebuilt. I may wait and put them on the new setup in the spring Only time will tell. My garage is full with a frame off resto of a 65 impala right now. And I store the car in the winter. As far as the 02 sensor bung it's a minor thing and I am glad that these were available and I think they were worth the wait. I would have liked equal length primary's but the supercharger would have been an issue and the tight space for the top rad hose and the crossover So these work for my build. Equal length would be possible on a turbo setup IMO

I hope mike is working with you guys to get the down pipes back and get them fixed. my apologies!
