Fog lights: angel eyes?
So I'm debating on either putting hids in the stock fog lights or replacing them with the angel eyes. Anyone using angel eyes or know where I could get some? If running hids, what kind are you running? And if I got angel eyes should I go ahead and run hids in them too? Watcha think?

I'm thinking I'm just gonna keep the stock and put some hids in them. Anyone have any suggestions on hid output? I'm bout to be running 6000k in my headlights.

Angel eyes are lame. Refrain from using them. Get glass fogs and run hids.

Id go with 3000k for the HIDs if you have a lot of fog that you drive through. Otherwise go with the same color you are using for your headlights.

Where could I find some glass fog lights? I'm thinking about running 6000k threw the fogs and would like to have the glass housings. I don't have much fog an have never had to use them for fog. So I'm going more for looks.

And if I got the angel eyes and put like 6000k hid in them would they be as bright as like a stock fog with same hid?

HID's are way overkill for fog lights. Definitely don't put them in the stock plastic housings. You'll melt that whole thing including the lens. I've used some of the optilux-hella angel eye fogs before. They look great, are durable and easy to install, and put out a ton of light. Very bright and clean white color for a non-HID light and hard to beat for $60.

Would they look good with the 6000k I'm running in my headlights?

And I noticed you have to have a switch installed to be able to use the eyes separate from the main bulb. Where would be the best place to install the switch u think? In that lil cubby hole underneath the fog light controls maybe?

That's a good place. Easy to get to and easy to mount switches in. I've put switches in there before. My cruise controls are actually in my cubby now.

you'll like the angel eyes man. The halo's on them are actually pretty bright and do look really good. I kinda made my own brackets to mount them because the stock fog light brackets do not fit on them
The ones in my avatar < are tinted and they are still pretty bright.
