I think they might total my car, considering KBB is 2100 in excellent condition, and I had estimates for repair for 2,300. So this might not even happen .

The car needs a new right 1/4 panel, Bumper cover, headlight, Foglight, 2 horns, and repainted.

But I called the person about 330i, they sold it. If anyone can find me a car anywhere within PA, NJ, NY, MA, DE. Post a link I'll check it out.

Well I snapped a pic of a car today, while at the neighborhood dentist office, that I THINK might be the perfect car for you.
-Its agile enough to outhandle the deer coming at you.
-Its awd like the Syclone so great for your winter weather!
-Its fast because we all want fast stuff.
-AND its got some luxury AND 4 seats like the BMW so its a nice daily that you can cart friends around in...plus their luggage in the hatch part of the hatchback.

I rarely take cell phone pics of cars (even though Vegas has tons of pic worthy cars and exotics) but it really has a nice presence and to be honest I had yet to see one on the road yet. I know the Ferrari FF model isn't everyone's cup of tea..kinda like the Panamera. But the performance, tenacious grip and amazing luxury these sorts of cars provide IS fairly incomparable. Looks WAY better in person than my phone pics up....its a very long (or long looking) car.

this is absolutely beautiful especially with that dark grey but for some reason it reminds me of the hyundai veloster

Yeah, the Veloster and the FF have a similar look from the back hatch and the side...the tails and the bumper inserts aren't far off either. The fact that you can buy 20 Velosters for the price of an FF probably doesn't matter to FF owners but I would love to see a dark gray Veloster with with similar aftermarket gunmetal wheels sitting next to an FF...just cause it would be funny and it would show off the areas of similar design.

More likely the Hyundai copied the Veloster or some other concept of it or prototype, they've been pretty obvious about it in the past.....

"What are you driving this week?" a friend asked me the other day, not an odd question since I get a new vehicle each week for testing.

"It's the Hyundai Sonata sedan," I replied.

"Is that the one that looks like a Jaguar?" he asked.

"Well, it used to," I said.

The exchange was a surprise to me, because until then, I thought maybe I was the only one who had noticed similarities in the styling of the previous generation of the Sonata and the baby Jaguar, the X-type sedan that arrived in 2002.

Though Hyundai has done some less than original work in the past, there are elements that end up just happening to be similar. Also, the automotive design community is so global that I don't see it as a "brand x copying so and so" anymore. For example, if you like the looks of many of the new Kia vehicles, you aren't liking Kia as much as you are liking Peter Schreyer's work. He used to be a top designer at Audi (he did the Audi TT) and now he is styling chief for Kia..continuing to pen some great designs in their new lineup. A number of Toyota car designs weren't drawn out in Japan or "by Toyota" as much as they were done by an American team at CALTY in Ann Arbor and SoCal. Top designers in the auto industry are always moving and changing places from one company to another and they inspire and borrow and sometimes copy each others work..so its really as much of a designer taking cues from elsewhere as it is the individual car company doing it.

That's right, I need to modernize my thinking.

My dad bought a 65 Rambler Marlin new and soon after the Plymouth Barracuda fastback was on the road. Damn copycats!
