Exclamation Help!!!!

Replaced my front hub assemblies and then a weird harmonic vibration manifested. Whenever I drive it has a vibration noise that gets loutish then quiet. Constantly changes pitch from quiet to loud, only whole driving and doesn't change any pitch when turning left or right. Replaced the left (was told it was the culprit by two shops) hub assembly three times since then and it is STILL THERE!!!!! any ideas? Please help!!!

Only thing I can suggest is to check the other hub. Just cuz the shop says it's bad doesn't mean it is... If not the other hub start checking things like axles, makes sure stupid things like rubbing of anything. Just a little rub can cause alot of issues

AaronGTR has made plenty of valid pointsAaronGTR has made plenty of valid points
could be the CV joint instead of the hub.

I'm on it. I'll get it back in the shop tomorrow and keep up with progress.

Well, couple hundred bucks later. Both CV joints have been replaced, both hubs have been replaced (again) and the vibration is still there.... At this point I'm actually going crazy :| Ball joints and tie rods would NOT make this sound, it's a harmonic vibration that you can actually feel in the floorboard as you drive. It's so weird to explain you literally have to hear it. It's constant and only increases and decreases in pitch, it doesn't get faster or slower.

Tires are in great condition and were rotated. Did that at the suspension shop on Tuesday. It's crazy. I am literally clueless, and so are most of the shops. My last resort is to replace the transmission. But I really don't want to do that right now. No one can give me a direct answer to what is causing it. It didn't surface until I replaced the hub assemblies.

I thought the wheel bearings were located in the hub assembly? If that's so, I've replaced them 2 times since the initial vibration sound.

You said the tires were rotated but did the balance them too? Maybe you lost a tire weight and you've got an imbalance.

New calipers, new slotted rotors and ceramic brakes. I recorded a video of the noise, it doesn't register very loudly but it's there. I'll upload it in a few minutes.

I will also check the balance of the wheels. I just checked the video, the sound is DEFINITELY audible with the volume turned up a little bit. Check it out! Here it is

Just ordered some new outer tie rods and ball joints for the front end. Getting the tires rechecked again on Tuesday (school all day tomorrow), and I'll get the parts put on as soon as they arrive. Jeez... My front suspension is pretty much brand new at this point, haha.

I thought that too, but the tires are all in good condition. It's weird :| They're all Falken Ziex tires. They all have GREAT (not good) GREAT tread on them.

I hope I do too, not just for me, but for anyone else that may fall into this horrible predicament.

Just went to Discount Tire, found out that one of my rims is corroding, but is still not the cause of my problem. Fixed this immediately, rebalanced the tires and it's still vibrating. At this point I'm considering going to an actual GM dealer around here and paying for a dealership diagnosis. After I have the tie rods and ball joints installed, if it's still vibrating, I'm going to a GM dealership and getting this sorted out.
