well got the minis mounted and all looks good, only small problem being TRS sent me the wrong wire harness from the one I ordered. So contacted them right away and waiting for a reply, that means gotta wait until I get the correct harness before I can mount these on the car. Also I broke the tabs off the back of one of the D2S Bulbs, so problly gunna have to order another set. Since the ballast screws/snaps onto the bulbs, with the tabs being broken off one bulb the ballast wont secure correctly

So I also put H1 LED bulbs in the high beam spot on these just so they have the nice white light to match everything else. and also figured out I'm gunna wire them to the high beam solenoid of the Mini's so in a sense when I move the selector in my car to HIGH the Mini's will switch, as well as the H1 LED high turning on.
which also I'm hoping during the day if I "flash to pass" only the H1 LED will light seeing as it'll get power and that should save the HID from needed to be turned on an off real fast

well correct harness should be here this week then I can get these mounted and tested to make sure the cut-off is level, and seal em up then wire the halos and everything else.
Also been thinking about painting my cut-off shield a bright green to give them that kinda green glow when the lights are off. currently the shields are black and it all blends in. But I've seen one other member did a retro and the shields were painted red.....kinda liked it but not too sure. thoughts or comments on this as now is the time to decide before I seal them up....or would it be too much and be gawdy in the long run????

so today I got a nice little package in the mail
![]() Was a package from TRS with my correct wire harness, the Morimoto Standalone Can-Bus 9007. so went to hook it up but noticed the wires were in wrong on the 9007 adapter.....they had it while looking at were the wires push into the blue plug black-white-red so me knowing the black ground needed to be in the middle switched that out and tested.... well the minis went straight to high mode so switched the wires some more what I came up with again looking at were the wires go into the blue plug red-black-white Ill take pics later when I finalize the installation of these to show correct order. so after getting the wires in correct order turn the lows on an yep both projectors fired up....then switch to high and yup both projectors got brighter so now I'm just waiting for night fall to test them and make sure the cut-off is level and to aim them correctly. then get to take them off and seal em up. and start the fun task tomo of wiring up my halos and getting them totally mounted and secure

thanks ya just got to adjust them a tad more up to light more road in front of me....but thatll wait till later
also I started my car with the e-brake on, so none of the lights came on, then I pulled the beam selector to "flash to pass" and the projectors flashed on in high beam mode..... guess I won't be flashing ppl to let them know it ok to get in front of me during the day

Do you have high/low in same projectors. And why the need for the can-bus harness ? And do you have your drl's disabled. I have a 2003. And wonder what the benefits are with that harness.

the Can-bus was a simplier install with less wiring compared to the standard Bi-Xenon wire harness, plus the Can-bus was stated to work with negatively switched cars, likes ours heres a pic of just the Can-bus harness I took this from theretrofitsource.com you can see it plugs into the stock 9007 plug, then goes to ballast and the lil wires go to the high beam solenoid of the projector ![]() were as the Bi-Xenon looked like this and would require you to run a wire to the battery for pos/neg, then plug into only one stock 9007 plug, mount the relays somewhere, plug into both ballast then attach yet another ground near each headlight ![]() while true both harnesses would more than likely work, I just didnt want all the extra wires of the Bi-Xenon kit, the can-bus was just easier and less stuff to wire and yes my DRLs are disabled

so I emailed TRS last night about the higher "hotspot" on my pass side. they replied to removed the bulb and make sure it seated properly, so I did only to have same result....so tomo gunna swap the bulbs and see if they swap making driver "hotspot" be higher, if so means there something not right with the bulb itself.....if not then the projector is funky and I'll prob just leave as is, since they totally sealed in there an be a pain to remove.
also spent all day mounting the ballast, running the wires for the CCFL halos, mounted the switch and colored LED inside my cubby in the dash. then sealed and mounted both headlight only to find the pass side corner LED board didnt light so switched the plug 180* still nothing took the whole light apart to find the Pos wire pulled from the back of the LED board....gotta solder it back on tomo. Also learned that having the H1 LED hooked into the high solenoid doesn't work, it doesnt have enough power to light the bulb an switch to high, so disconnected that and will have to figure something out

well got the pass side all fixed, sealed and mounted.
also switched the HID bulbs per the two lights, and sure enough now the driver side "hotspot" is high while the pass side is center.....looks like the bulb is messed up and not centered in the base properly also took some pics of how I mounted the ballast and everything to give ppl an idea, and also snagged a few pics of the ON-OFF-ON switch and colored LED that controls the halos here you can see the ballast mounted behind the header panel. driver side is in the same place then the amount I had to cut away to make the lights fit the invertors for the CCFL, had to end up using two per headlight as extending the wires made them dim my ON-OFF-ON mini rocker and LED mounted in the cubby hole white halo on green halo on
