That's what I would do. They should have removed and cleaned up all the damaged glass in the first place.

Yeah I don't know why they wouldn't do that, but its just a very big inconvenience having to leave it there again.

I would definitely call that shop back up to clean the glass out. It's not your responsibility plus you may end up making things worse trying to remove all the broken glass. Then it'd be up to you to pay for the repairs.

^ my love of the ignore button continues
![]() I would call the shop, ask them how one would go about removing that glass. When they answer you, ask them how the f*ck come they didn't do it when they had your car, and ask when they have a few minutes for you to come by so they can finish the job. I'm an a$$hole tho, so maybe you don't want to follow my lead... but just sayin' that's what I'd do

Dude... you need to work on your reading skills. It didn't break from washing it... it broke from a big ass metal rod and bolt that fell on it while going through the car wash. The washing had nothing to do with it... the heavy metal piece impacting the glass did. That would break any sunroof glass.

Oh no I'm always for a good debate. Not to mention, everyone loves to hate a honda. Guess I just picked the wrong station to pull my car into. Oh well, no coin out of my pocket.

Dude, at least it wasn't your own fault. My fool brother took his gmc2500 through a car wash...with the brushes, and forgot about his diesel tank on the back of the truck. The friggin brush snagged the hose, snapped it off, wound all but a two foot whip with the refilling nozzle around the brush, and proceeded to wash the rest of the truck. It bashed out his back window, smashed a row of holes all the way down his roof, and smashed out the sunroof. What an idiot
. AND to top it off, the brush turned on the diesel pump, and it started spraying diesel, 10 gallons per minute into the brush, which was catapulting it straight into the cab. His whole truck interior was covered in diesel.Don't worry about your sunroof. It wasn't your fault, and will all get fixed for free... It'll all work out in the end |

I'm just happy it only hit the glass, if that would have hit metal, man it would have been a hell of a dent. My car would have been in the shop for days, not hours. So it could have been soooooo much worse.

Ground controls ordered along with front and rear camber bolts.
Also buying tires and lugs for the wheels next month. So come September the car will be rimmed up and lowered. Fenders will be rolled shortly there after. Last edited by tipnitty; 06-23-2012 at 06:33 PM. |

Those used? The one on the far right looks all scuffed.
Don't forget to post pics when everything is installed, interested to see since I just lowered my car and its been the first time I lowered a car, now I get why everyone says stock suspension on most cars look like a 4x4. Lowering the car would probably be the first thing I do for now on.
