LED 3rd brake light

I have (2) retro fitted LED Grand AM 3rd brake/trunk lights, using a LED board from a Impala. This is in the Stock Grand Am 3rd tail light housing and uses the Grand Am connector. PLUG and PLAY. NO RE-WIRING OR SPLICING REQUIRED. All lights are tested and work perfectly.
$35 shipped US/Canada

With the Impala unit, there is a clear light dispursing lense that came with it. This was modified to fit under the Grand Am lense (Included) and you can use it if you wish, or use it without. Optional.
If you do want to use it, it just squeezes in behind the red lense and comes between the LED strip and the red tail light. See pics

The 3rd light that I have, I had moded the clear lense to fit over top of the stock tail lense, so it appears the tail light is clear in color. This was an experimental mod and reqires some finess to fit it in perfectly, but does fit (see pic)
If you choose not to use this lense then you can still use this unit, but will have to use your stock lense.
If you do not want the clear lense, then I will sell this unit for $30shipped US/Canada

Yes, actually I do. Wow, I almost forgot about this it has been so long. I had sold 2 locally in June and forgot about this posting. Install LED Bulbs in the stock fixture.

These are practically stock. You can make one using the 3rd brake light out of an impala/monte carlo. Buy his or make your own.

Is buy one if I could find someone selling them. If I can't find someone selling them than I'm going to head out to the JY and make one myself.

I do have a 3rd LED brake light still, but I am in the process of moving houses. It is packed up right now, and I will get back to anyone who wants one next month after I get moved and settled in. Maybe the 2nd wk in August. R U in Canada or in the US. The reason is as of last Jan, there is no more ground service via regular mail by Canada Post to the US only air. So I would have tho get the full price of $35 shipped as shipping alone is about $16-$18. Sorry no price reduction as the last customer as I lost out last time. I got 1 left. If he doesn't have one, check with Sean a/k/a StromTech2.0. I'm not sure if he's still making these now but the one I bought from him works great and looks completely stock until it lights up.

How do you get the clear piece to seal at the trunk? Do you just run a silicone bead around the edge?

The clear piece you dont even need to use. I just made one without it.

All sold out for now. Pls check again late, prob in April/May. FYI: you don't need to use the clear piece. it is just fine with the red lense cover. The clear piece is just to dispurse the red light, but not necessary.
PLs wait till spring and when it warms up -45 today with the wind chill to go to get parts and work in the garage. Thanx.

I installed the clear lens when I made my LED third brake light. I had to shave it down to fit in the red housing but it came out nicely. It really looks better when you install the clear lens, it disputes the light nicely.
