This is what I was thinking from day one. There is way too much work to swap that stuff over. Its much easier to swap your stuff over to the black one. At least its something you can do yourself instead of having to depend on someone else.
As for painting, go to a local car show, and talk to some of the entrants. You'd be surprised who you can meet and what kind of hook ups you can get by meeting the right people.

My $.02...keep the black for GO and the white for Show..They are both awesome cars..I'd fix up the interior on the Black car and call it a day..

I agree with the duality option. The black is setup just put some good seats in and do minor fix up work and you will be scaring kids in no time.
If only one must stay id say swap the engine/trans over to the white one. That way you can get some good motor mountsin since those need replacing anyways.

If you are keeping the black one looking stock. Gut the interior and make it full track. Just keep everything you pull off so if you sell it or anything you have it. Throw on soime slicks and scare the pants off yourself.

OK. Trying to get the swap going. My uncle has never dealt w/ swapping FWD cars before and he has no capabilities at his shop barring us going onto Ft. Benning and doing the work there at the auto craft shop. He's cool w/ a guy down the road that just opened up a shop 7 months ago and there was some confusion on what I was trying to do I guess. The guy is an ASE certified ex-military mechanic and I took the black one down there and explained my plans. He's worried about he difference between the two years and the mods on the black one, especially w/ the SC. I showed him that the SC was an aftermarket kit specifically designed for the GA/Alero and he said it might be a bit easier. I'm taking both cars down for him to look at tomorrow.
My uncle nearly shat himself when he saw the setup. I let him take it for a spin and he was grinning from ear to ear. He loved the sounds and said that if he had the thing, he would get in so much trouble w/ it.. . He ran it through the gears and said everything was very solid. The rev limiter is set @ 6500rpm and squeals tires from a stop. As it's set up, he said I should not have to run through the gears if I take it to a track since I would have to keep and eye on the rpm's and shift when it hits 6500 before the limiter dumps some of the power. Also, I'm taking the black one to the track on Friday. I went to the track not too far from my folk's house and talked to a guy that works there. It used to be a 1/4 mile track, but the cars got too fast for it and they cut it down to an 1/8th mile. It's $10 to get in and $15 to race and it's open from 6pm to 12ish Friday and Saturday and from 1pm to 8pm on Sundays. Here's what it looks like. http://www.columbusgeorgiaonline.com/drag_strip1.htm

Oh that is so tempting to go the 2 hours to see my old car again and see what it does on that track. Maybe i could bring down the G6 or GTO and do a pass myself. My problem is I work until 6pm. Phenix is 2 hours from me and Commerce (which sucks) is 3 hours from me.
I am so glad it got sold to someone who enjoys it as much as I did. It certainly is a beast. I did notice that the car revs so fast in first that is almost impossible to not hit the rev limiter.

Took both cars to the shop today and the guy said he's able to do the swaps, but it'll be kinda costly. Looking at close to 5G's to complete it.

Went to a paint shop that my uncle's friend referred me to. They said they would charge me 2G's or less to repaint the black one w/ the body kit, spoiler and hood and inside the door jams and all and the paint job would be garunteed. Any color I wanted too. They said something about doing a two tone and all I thought of was Sik's GA...
but I said hellz naw because there's no clean lines to do thatIf I decide to just do the black one, I'd repaint it the slate grey or the blue color that Fab's old GA used to be.

Yeah. Been very busy. I've been in Korea since August last year. Got divorced in December 2010 and married again in January...
. Not to the same person though. The suspension, exhaust and headers that were on Kitt are still on there. Not too much time to take them off and swap everything. I did get the SC and the 28# injectors put into the white one. Aaron helped tune it. Did almost have a complete disaster one night. You can read it here.. Fuel leak... The only thing I'm worrying about is I still haven't gotten the gear oil changed in the SC since I bought everythign from Michael. IDK when he had anything changed either.. I'm supposed to be moving to Augusta, GA some time later this year. So, hopefully I will be able to start tearing things apart or just swap everythng to the black one.. kit and all.. Yes.. I'm horrible at deciding... .
