Couldn't find a thread like this so I'd figure I should make one like the "Best looking wheels for GA thread" on the forum, plus it gives members an idea of what their GA would look like with tint.

List details:

Picture of car.
% of tint.
Cost of tint(if you can remember).
Legal % of tint allowed for your state(tintlaws.com)

Back when the GA was still pretty.

Tint %: 20%
Cost: $158
NYS tint laws: 75% up front, 35% in the rears

40% darkest legal PA is 50%. Lightest I could find anyone carry was 40% so I went with it. Did not want another reason to get pulled over for sh!t.

I have 5% on rear :cost $150.00 .And up here in Alberta, Canada only factory tint is allowed up front as far as I know. But that said it can be pretty dark too.

i put on 40%. (meters in at 36)

To the ones with GAs that got them tinted.

I know scratches on the outside of our windows is a common thing on GAs for some reason but my question is: Does putting tint on make the scratches anymore noticeable?

x2 I didn't notice my scratches until I put the tint on, so yes it makes it more noticeable, but only from certain angles and up close.

Dam cops up here are A-holes, dunno how many times I see some poor bugger get pulled over by them,get a ticket and made to peel off the front tint ,right then and there on the street.

Got it as a graduation gift from my parents so free!
35% all the way down up front
5% on back three and a 5% eyebrow on the windshield.
Michigan law is a 4 inch strip on the front windows and as dark as you want in the back.
Been pulled over 3 times now for it... first two times were by the same fricken cop like 3 weeks apart. 3rd time the cop was going the other direction on the freeway then stopped and turned around in the grass to pull me over. Even frisked me because he thought I had drugs or guns or something.. Still haven't gotten any tickets for the tint though just warnings.

And I don't think my scratches are too noticeable either.

Tint makes the window scratches soooo obvious. At least on my GA. I was like the f*** my tints screwed up. But i looked and it was just the normal scratches on window it just magnifies it IMO

3M 20% (measure 17%) on all but windsheild, $350 with them removing the old tint.
Legal in MI is top 4" of windsheild, and front windows. I have Rx for tinted windows to be as dark as I want for my eye condition.

15% all around with a 5% windshield strip. Though its possible its 25% on doors I dont recall.
Cost $120 I believe FL law is 15% back and 25% front with as dark as you like windshield strip, not sure on how long but 4-5" sounds right.
I would have went 5% but my wife drives the car to work at night so 15% is good enough.

When I lived in ND the law there was as dark as you want on the rear 50% on the front doors and 70% on the windshield, never understood that one
