May as well let the cat outta the bag. I just finally got my 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition imported over from Japan. Only one in the states. Be jelly.

Should be installed tomorrow or Saturday if my header panel gets here on Friday. They honestly look tons better IRL then in the picture. These don't do them justice.

And being honest, you can just tell they are better quality then projectors. Already sealed well and have a strong feel.

The Alero would be easier, it's a split headlight setup.

Also the bulbs that came with these are 12V65/55W

is 55W ok? Also they are noticeably bigger.

I'm looking at the ones that where in my stock headlights and all it says is 12V.

Here's a picture for reference. New bulb:Left--Old:right

cleaned everything

painted and wired these yesterday

installed the turn signal assemblies. Note that I removed the bezel around the headlights. The projectors melted them, but it looks awesome on the car. Don't know if I'll use them, might use the euro bezels.

put the headlights back into the headlight shell. Put the light bulbs back in and made sure it all fit

Yea, the sylvania xtravision bulbs are 60 watt. more watts is more light. also a little shorter life... but i've been trying these for a few weeks in the truck, they throw some light, i'll give 'em that

Well hopefully that 12V65/55W bulb that came in the headlights won't hurt anything..

Header panel came in today so they'll be installed tomorrow.

I gotta say even with stock headlights that fit, they are still a bitch to get into the slots and lock in with those metal clips. Bad work on GMs side. Unless I'm missing a secret.

i noticed that too. huge PITA with stock lights never mind the projectors.

even with my header panel modified to fit the projectors it still was a PITA to fit them in and lock the metal clips.
