The scoop openings are common "extra" material used to brace the scoops for shipping. Most hoods have these to sturdy up the fiberglass in weaker areas and need trimmed down before paint. It appears this is the case here.

Regardless the outcome, pictures will be up Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
He gets his monday
i am trying to get a picture from Erick with the hood completly shut and on right now

Here are some pics of the hood complately installed (HAVE IN MIND THAT PART OF THE BASE IN THE INSIDE ITS BROKEN FROM THE CARS RIGHT SIDE SO THATS WHY IT MIGHT LOOK KINDA GOOFY) also i opened up the scoops so i think it looks better... Positive & Negative feed are welcome, not replying to dumb hating posts....

Still too many gaps, still looks lop sided, and please don't tell me your going to be wearing that hood around unpainted like all the other ricers around here. Not hating or anything but I would just get it painted, get it all lined up, and perfect and THEN take pictures.

And at blocking the license plate when the license plate was exposed in the first pic he first posted.
