If your header panel is broke just get a new one. Mine was broke from trying to fit the projectors and I got a new one along with my black housed headlights.

They're cheap but the exact same thing. Bought mine for $46

Here's a eBay link to the vendor on eBay that I bought from. I can vouch, they come with all that is pictured. Which is all you need.

All I needed to do was take the little medal clips off the old on that help the header panel screw in near the bottom. You'll see what I'm talking about once you start to install it.

Installing the header panel does require taking the front bumper off. Which isn't hard.

Ok just ordered it! Figure that cheap it will be better than my gorilla glue fix. The car hasn't been any accidents that I can tell. Core support is good so not sure how the header panel broke, maybe previous owner was an idiot and couldn't figure out how to change the headlights

I have to say, very impressed that someone is actually going through the effort to fix a GA without being cheap about it. Nice work.

True that. If I had all the money he had to spend on the GA. I would of bought a newer, better condition car with the money hes putting into the GA.

I've learned a long time ago its cheaper to fix it right then band aid fix a car. As far as the cost of the car, I don't have much invested. Car was 500, replaced door-125, fender-40, front bumper-80, hood 495, paint/supplies was around 800 and probably another 100 or 200 in misc items like trim and small parts. Then subtract 1500 for the check the insurance company wrote me for someone hitting the car at works parking lot and knock on wood, the engine still runs strong!

I hated it at first but it grows on ya after awhile! With the bodylines on the car, in the light, this looks really good!

Wow, I like the color! Little brighter than the Forest Green that some GA's came in.

I'd have to agree with your girlfriend on this one. I personally like the forest green that comes with these cars stock.

Oh, Fabs, you beat me to it.

Ill give him that, its a bold move and he is the only one out there with it (that we know about) its just not my cup of tea. To each their own I suppose.

When I first bought the car the factory green reminded me of that color so I said if I ever repaint it, Im going Verdoro Green. Plus I hate having a car thats identical to others!

Amen!

As much as I LOVE our CR-V's (yes, two of them now, and they are fantastic little cars), I hate how boring they are. They're an appliance.

That looks NO WHERE near puke green. I like it. People who don't like it must be youngins and can't appreciate a nice 60s GTO color.

Installing the black housed headlights, some new 18s, and SC/T spoiler would look real nice.
