BTW. THIS is puke green.

Installing the black housed headlights, some new 18s, and SC/T spoiler would look real nice.
The housings will be delivered by Nov 1st and the SCT spoiler I just bought from a guy on here and that will be in the mail soon! Only question is, do I black out the scoops and spoiler or bodycolor?

KEEP the spoiler the body color. The GA isn't the old challenger . It will look like sht IMO if you leave the spoiler black.

What do you have in mind when you say blacking out the scoops?

yeah I actually like it. It's dark, but not too dark. And its not to snot/ricer green. I can't say it would be my first choice what so ever, but with a polished set of wheels, I think it will be pulled off nicely.

with that color, a flat black flat wing, I could see a throwback paint scheme working on it.

but i've never been a fan of the monochromatic thing, and i like chrome still, and i'm from

I would do the area thats 'raised' on the scoop and follow that down to the point, come back, go across the opening and back down if I painted it black. Kinda hard without doing some photoshop but if someone wants to play around, be my guest!

A person name "Shortcut" did that similar idea on his GA on the other forum. PM him and he can direct you to pictures.

Here's some but not up close.

Thanks! Yes that does look good, I think I would follow the line down into the 'scoop' part so thats blacked out as well. Ill have to play around with the tape lines before I paint it and see what looks the best.

My thought is on the Ram Air GTOs the hood scoops where painted black so following the theme...

What Shortcut did himself don't will look bad. I think it would look even better on your green then his orange. But then again I've only seen Shortcut do that.

So since I have been not keeping up on this thread too well, what are your plans for rims? And sorry if you already answered this somewhere else

I'd keep it one color, if I were you. Get black inserts for the grill/scoops.

Probably just clean up the stock rims and buy new tires. Not a big fan of aftermarket rims unless there is a GM wheel that's an upgrade

i like the color it looks good man. at first i thought it was the factory green but once i read and found out it was the gto color i had to go back and look again. if you paint the spoiler dont do the whole thing maybe just the raised portion.

You can get some 2005 Bonneville GXP 18" rims. They are real clean and nice looking. Disregard the unpainted panels. He has the wrong tires though so don't be discouraged if they look skinny. He had 225/35/18 tires when you should have 225/40/18 which make a big difference in sidewall.

Not bad...thought I saw Aztec wheels work as well. I do like the chrome however I think it goes well with the paint

These are from a member on here. Take note that his car is lowered so the wheels look better since the wheel wells are filled.

17" Azteks(IMO have no depth. Look too flat):

17" rims off the Pontiac Torrent(With spacers):
