I never understand why people who have ads like that will sell things and then when I have a ad with EVERYTHING you want to and need to know about the wheels/tires it never sells, even if its reasonably priced. It's not a lengthy paragraph its just the list of essentials that someone needs to know if they want that rim and tire.

Because most peoples brain probly wears out after a couple words, and after that they can't comprehend what the rest is. Or they just don't understand a word. To detailed for them i guess.

Any time i sell things on there I'm as honest as possible and when someone comes out to look it's like there a child blinded by excitement and don't even care a problems or brands. They just simply want it.

I've sold wheels on craigslist before, I throw up all the info on the wheel specs and what cars they could fit.

People are just retarded.

HOWEVER, I almost nabbed a set of BBS RS wheels from a guy in Queens during he summer. Guy listed them as "grey mesh wheels" off a Mitsubishi. He wanted $300 for them, with tires. He found them in an old storage shed from his kid and wanted them gone. I was pissed when he already sold them.

Ya, it's amazing too that all it takes is a quick google search to learn about something and people still seem to amaze me.

I've bought and sold 10+ sets of wheels of craigslist without major issue. Of course, when I get to the point of putting something on CL, I usually put a VERY fair price, and they get snapped up quickly.

The key is being on top of everything... both my current car and the wheels on it were bought off CL, and I called both of them less than two hours after they were posted. I also don't really haggle much if its a good deal, especially once I meet with the person; if I can talk them to, say, $400 for the wheels over the phone, then I show up with $400. Unless they completely lied in their posting (which I have yet to run into), then I'm more than happy to make a quick, seamless transaction that works for both parties.

It's all about timing when it comes to craigslist, thats for sure. I snatched up a set of Eibach springs for my grand am for only $135, brand new never used.
