That's what I was thinking

It's going to sit 12mm closer to the perch with a 225/40/18 tire, than fabs old 18x8.5 +35 offset rims

It is going to be tiiiiiiight. I would definitely test fit. And I wouldn't run anything less than a 235/40/18 on that rim

You are probably going to end up running a 10mm spacer

+1 with the spacers. 10mm may be the ticket for a nice, flush fit.

with the spacers you will have to check the fender clearance as well... I had to roll mine to lessen the rubbing with mine...
