I know the number and circumstances I will offer him tomorrow. I know he will accept one of them. I am giving him a very fair offer that he would be stupid to decline. So my plan is to take delivery of the car on Friday

Is that a real WS-6 package? Something just looks off with the ram air hood to me... Easy way to tell is the air breather under the hood. Looks to be in good shape. I have owned over 15 F-bodies. The only place it can dent is the rear quarters. Pretty much the same thing with rust. Will typically only form there as well except the under side. Should only have exhaust in one port. I thought in 98 WS6 the Hurst short throw shifter was standard. Shift knob should have an H on it. Here is my newest TA. Thinking about adding am '02 CE to the collection.

They are fun cars. Is there a crack on the top of both interior door panels in the plastic? GM put a staple there and with opening/shutting the door as well as working the windows, most people have that crack. No simple or easy fix either.

According to him, he ran the numbers on the car and it is a legit ws6. There is 1 nickel size dent on the driver quarter panel. The only interior problem, is stitching on the passenger seat is frayed, ill get better pictures. But the seller swears to its authenticity. The front bumper was repaired due to an accident in 2000. Maybe that's what you are seeing.

Exhaust in one port? The shifter does not have an H on it.

The 98 WS6 had a dual exhaust cutout, but has a single drivers side big azz round exhaust tip. "H" would let you know it already has the close ratio short throw shifter.

The seller tiled me it had a close ratio. But there is dual exhaust on the car now. But I know 2nd owner did exhaust work to the car. The shifter is a triple threaded shift knob. Ill have seller send me a picture of it tomorrow.

From what I've read and know of the car, it leads me to be a ws6. The shift knob could be any number of reasons and I know the exhaust has had work. Thanks for the link! I will surely look more into it tomorrow!

He acceped $7750, taking out the 2 12" Type R subs and amp he put in before I got there ( he thought I was a punk kid that would love that.), and I'll be replacing the window motors myself.

I think I got a really good deal.

I told him I wanted to pick it up today, but I can't just pull out that much cash from an atm . I told him I would write him a check and show him the money is there, but I can't blame him for wanting to wait for a cashiers check. It's going to be a long week, that's for sure.
