My dear Gent...

Excellent WORK!!!

It's awesome to see what a little patience, focus and thought can result in - in a large backyard!!! Wish I had room to rock a paint 'booth' or a yard to spray in!!!!

Also - the paint, it's cool cuz it's different and cooler because when you get those LeMans/GTOs? done (same green) you can rock old school new school at the next car show!!!

Yo Mike, I'm going to ask this ahead of time just so I know because I might be completely replacing my front and rear bumper.

Questions are, where did you find the black rubber molding trim that goes on the bumpers?

And, Where did you get a new pontiac arrowhead emblem badge for the front bumper?

reason I ask is because I ran into a big rock a while back and my rear bumper is now scratched and cracked but I'm taking this as a opportunity to replace it because it has many small cracks in it anyway. Plus my front bumper is scraped from the previous owner and its oxidizing.

I have an unused arrowhead still and the molding I found on eBay. You can cut a rear bumper molding down to fit the sides

Pardon the dirty car but I got a set of Pontiac Grand Prix GPX wheels (18x8 F, 18x7 R) They bolted on but Im not sure if its because of the height of these wheels (seems a few inches taller than stock) or needs spacers but the top of the tire rubs the spring plate bottom. I hope it just needs lower profile tires because if I would need aprox 1.5-2 inch spacers and I think it would stick out and look horrible.

Not sure what size in an 18 would work to give it stock height, but I really like these wheels so I hope I can make them work

What does everyone think? Yay or nay? If I get low profile tires and they fit without spacers, I may lower the car an inch to avoid the 4x4 look

I pretty much like those, but there is some 4x4 look there, it may just be the rubber on them. The spokes are almost to wide, make the wheels look too big, but I'm not sure that isn't just the way the car is sitting there with that rubber.

I'm not sure...

Its probably the tire size but it looks lifted, which makes the 4x4 status even more noticeable. I wouldn't doubt that you're running the tire size fit for a GP which is alot more then you need.

Its that ****ty cheap chromatech that gm uses that makes the wheels look like ass... that coating is too bright of a chrome that just pops out and smacks you in the face when you see it! Its the main reason why I'm not the biggest fan of gm's stock wheels! Aftermarket chrome is much deeper and prettier... they shouldn't look to bad once you get everything sized out.

I think the GP GXP wheels where real chrome...hopefully they aren't the chromo-techs like the GA's was.

Regardless though, I agree with coop, the spokes are too "fat" so it makes the wheel look "dubbish," even if you where to get the correct tire size IMO it would still look too donky if ya know what I mean. Not to mention the stupid staggered wheel setup, if anything they should be wider in the rear since the wheel wells in the rear are deeper. I know they where wider in the front because of the FWD but that just looks funny.

I agree, I hate the 4x4 look of it but the GP tires are an inch or two taller than stock size. The stock ones are back on now till I can find some reasonable priced 18 inch tires (anyone have a set???) love to drop it an inch or so also when the 18s go on. Think the car will look a lot better then

Finally spring like weather and played around with the GA. I had some spare headlights and taillights and a bunch of black/clear paint so...

Tinted headlights and tails...

Thanks a lot!!! Still a few things I want to do: paint the spoiler bodycolor and then black out the bottom of the bumper, polish the exhaust tips, align the front bumper, and repaint the pillars. Looking for some low profile 18 inch tires so I can get the GP rims on the car
