That's why I'm asking you guys. I honestly know nothing about this setup. Just trying to get a ballpark estimate. I didn't want this system going to the junk yard and rotting away. It still sounds good and has a "ballsy" sound to it. Thanks for the advice though man. I appreciate it. I was kind of hoping for more money though

In the state of Illinois, if your car keys are less than 20 feet from your vehicle and you are drunk, you get a DUI. As stated earlier.

I can see a BS law like that in Illinois, considering most of the drivers from there can't drive anyways, I can't believe the law isn't if you have keys and get within 20 feet of any car they'll arrest you for attempting to drive, sober or not

I've been caught by a cop while passed out in my Honda. He woke me to see if I was alive, then left me to sleep. Keys were in the cup holder. But I was of age so that's probably why.

Yeah, youre lucky Illinois has some dumbass laws. My charges got dropped to disorderly conduct, $600 fine, and it still goes on my record. My other option was $450 fine, 6 month license suspension, and it goes on my record.

Quick update on the situation.

Everything is settled now and I officially have the truck. Lots of unplanned events, but theres no need to b!tch about it on here. So I detailed the truck today, and here is the result.

Before anyone goes haywire on all the chrome, here is my ideas:

1) Plasti-dip the bed rail covers
2)Plasti-dip the bug reflector
3) Plasti-dip the Chevy emblem on the front
4) REMOVE the tail light covers (3 total)
5) REMOVE the door chrome trim slip (from top to bottom)
6) REMOVE the visor chrome trim
Probably something else, I just cant remember.

Anyone here are some pictures from today:

If there is a chrome strip at the top of the windshield, take that off too.

Quick update from what I got done today.

I took off the window visor chrome, door strip chrome, tail light chrome (all 3), and Plasti-dipped the bug deflector.

Next project which wont be till after school is to put my headunit in from the GAGT, install a billet grill, plasti-dip the chevy eblem, and take the bed rail caps off and plasti-dip them.

My reason for keeping the bed rails is because under them are scratches and chipped paint/rust from the guy before us who hauled wood with the truck.

Here are some pictures from today:
