I know it will be more, but I don't know how much, or what service they use.

I'll e-mail Brian at PFYC and see if he can give me more information on shipping to Canada.

Last group buy was UPS to Canada. Ended up paying extra $100 on top of shipping for brokerage and taxes, it was ridiculous.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure it was right around $90-100 at the door collected by UPS, I don't think I'm combining that with the shipping cost paid to PFYC, but I'd have to dig up the receipts to be sure. Doesn't seem that UPS has any predictable way of calculating extra charges with anything I've bought, for certain things brokerage is $20, other things $40, even though it's the same amount of paper work.

I don't have them installed yet! Been sitting in the parts pile for a year. This weekend I'm installing the rear along with a towing hitch. It looks like the larger bar is going to hit the exhaust pipe, so going to have to get it adjusted at the same time I have my muffler rewelded to fit below the hitch. Then will come the front bar, rear discs and struts and springs in the next few weeks.

I've paid the same for some parts, sometimes it's 50% of the cost! I think the strut bars off ebay were the same, $50 for the bars and $45 for brokerage/duties. It's brutal, I always try to use USPS.

I might be up for this if the shipping to Canada is worked out. If they're being shipped via UPS, that's a bit of a deal-breaker. I despise having to wonder whether I will have to pay another 50% on the price of the part in brokerage fees after I've already paid shipping.

Received an e-mail from PFYC, they will use fed-ex for shipping to Canada.

even with fed ex you will still have to wait til they mail you a statement for brokerage and duties... the joys of living in the great white north... on a positive note, you will not regret getting in on this buy, even with the added cost...

Alright, sign me up for a set. Those Canadians who are on the fence about the brokerage fees might want to look into self clearing their cross-border items. Found a nice write up about it here:

http://trueler.com/2010/11/24/self-c...brokerage-fee/

I trust we will have more contact with PFYC once the buy is set up, so that I can get the info I need to avoid being bent over the table on brokerage fees. Any estimates on shipping (not including brokerage)?
