IT's HERE!!! My Second Boost Child!!

Just got HIM last Friday. Needs a bit of TLC, but it's 9 years old!

1994 Montego Blue, black interior, 5 Speed, 6 disc CD changer added, 63,000miles.

Now, finding a rotary shop that isn't booked for almost 2 months already so I can get an initial look over is PlSSING ME OFF!! But I can say, in the tiny bit I pushed it, it is clearly the fastest,scariest car I have driven. Turbo's fockin rock!!

Allow me to be VERY VERY jealous, man. I've always wanted a montego blue Rx-7.

Good ole' rotary power...I have an old C&D ad from like 94 that shows the Rx-7 and emphasizes that the rx-7 was true to what a real sportscar should be - LIGHT IN WEIGHT!

Pimp, man. I love it.

Rip up the streets in that thing!!!!

Thanks! 2800 LBS. And this sucker is looooowww even without aftermarket springs/struts. The GA looks big next to it.

beautiful car man! be very careful in it, they are very light. My friend had one that he wrote off. But before he wrote it off i got a chance to drive it. **** those things are quick and handle like its on a friggin track! nice buy man!

those rims on it right now are about 11lbs each i believe. I used to own a talon and all the guys loved to get these rims from a junkyard cause they are nice and wide and barely weigh anything compared to the 27lb stock rims on 92-94 talons

Turbo, you go that pic off eBay!!!

It has 63,000 miles, but like I said it needs some TLC. paint job, tires, no doubt some motor work because they all do, rear pillow bushings, driver window fixed (only goes halfway down), and a new hood prop. Plus the brake line recall hasn't been done. Then the mods will start. I definitely will get some form of kit eventually, I'd like to make it a show car. Most likely that FEED front end with the 99spec turn signals like on the silver RX7 Turbo posted above. Veilside side skirts and rear skirts. There was only one RX7 at HIN in Philly and I was drooling, he had the exact kit setup.

Then, some H&Rs-Konis, 18" wheels, FMIC, BOV, E/DP, etc.

Definitely gonna take time for this baby...too much stuff available and a lot of $$ needed. So to answer Greg, no, no way this is going to Carlisle.

Oh and definitly get the Feed front end very sweet. 67 k isn't too bad. Motor probably got some left in it. May I suggest http://www.rx7store.net/ for all your rotary needs

Oh and Ackbar the owner of that Silver FD which I know pretty well would mop the floor against your Mustang. I have a vid of him pulling hard on a 03 Cobra that went 11.5 and his RX-7 probably has 100-150 more hp now.

Hey Doug, I just went around the corner to my neighbor's. He just sold his FD that ran 10.73 on rear slicks, with a bone stock motor and a single turbo. He looked mine over and said (knock on the biggest f-in piece of wood there is) that I got a steal. Secondary turbo seems to be on it's way out, but other than that vaccuum lines look good and such. Also, he knows Jason from www.RX7store.net, he is a mod on his forum and bought a lot of his stuff from him.

So far, looks like a boost gauge & water temp gauge with a pod are up first, also a downpipe, mazdaspeed short shifter and possibly an APEXi Power FC.

The RX7 at HIN last Saturday had the FEED front...Sweeeeet

P.S. By the way, Doug and I PM'd a bit about a month ago and he helped me with some info...Thanks man
