Yeah, I basically weighed myself, then stood on the scale holding each hood while my dad checked the number. Not 100% accurate, but close enough to get a general idea.

Anyway, about the construction of that CF hood, I wasn't talking about the finish. I was talking about the construction. It's weak. My SD hood was only a few pounds heavier, but much stiffer. The CF hood I could push on it on the tunnel behind the vents and see the surface flex. Plus mine flew up and hit my windshield once (my fault) and the cross bracing on the under side that was patterned off the stock sc/t hood completely shattered and fell apart. They didn't use a proper bonding material to mate the two molded halves of the hood. They glued them together with f*king clear silicone sealant! Like I said, sh*tty construction.

if i ever get around to it i'm gonna rip my lights apart and take them out. half the lights for the halo's were burnt out when i got mine. it's actually 3 or 4 of the little 187 bulbs that light up the halo. at least it is on mine unless he modded his or they changed something since i bought mine.

Looks great man. Those would be the only aftermarket headlights I'd consider besides the clear corners or black chrome stock looking ones

Ill try and get some output shots when I finally figure out why my drivers side isn't turning on. Haven't had the time to mess with it yet, luckily I don't do a ton of night driving.

The drivers side worked when I first got them I don't know if just moving the headlight a lot made the bulb bad or if its a ballast problem.. I'm hoping its an easy non expensive fix

HA! yes I know I'm wanting to do a projector fog w/ the same style led ring for a halo. I'm not sure though that you would really be able to see them unless the fogs are turned off.

I was thinking about the some from TRS that were fully enclosed already but I can't find them any more. Not sure what I could use for an enclosure on the fogs. I also had the thought of trying to modify the original projectors that can in the housing and using them for fogs. They are halogen projectors I believe so I'm not sure how it would turn out.

Either that or some LED fogs from trugreen

Looks good. I've had those same headlights for years but i don't think my rings have ever been that bright. Is it still just the three LEDs behind the rings or did they upgrade to something better?

Also, if you're interested I posted a how-to years ago on making the halo rings stay on while driving (with DRL disabled.) With your brightness, it would actually be a noticeable mod. Just wire the halo rings to an ignition based power source and pull the DRL relay. I used the ignition power from the DRL relay so there's not much splicing involved.

Finally got the wheels on. I think it's perfect. Could use a bit more tire and lowered a bit. But I think this is just tits.

no one ever sees these wheels, I doubt anyone will want them. They are quite the acquired taste. Plus they would have to break in and steal the key from my arm rest. haha
