Its easier to have em off, hand washed them, and put a coat of carnuba wax on all wheels front and back.

Plus when i clean the car i only make the front of the wheel shine, the back i never touch, it fills up with so much brake dust from the baer brakes its just not worth it to me. The wheels get taken off and hand washed about 3 times a year, other then that its filled with brake dust inside.

And washed once before winter since the car sits.

I clean the inside of the wheels everytime I wash the car. Looks better and "properly" cleaned

I used 75w90 GL5, some random Valvoline junk.

I honestly think one of the bearings in the trans is shot. I'm just going to pick up a new one and be done with it. Changing the oil didn't fix much. Some people said it might.

been putting the 75w90 in mine.. think it was valvoline oil got what ever napa had.

didn't know if you were trying different weights or something like that. my rears been making the noise so it sounds like i'm driving a school bus. ( you know the noise the tires make on them) since like 6 months after i got the car.. never posed any problems and i plan on replacing the car soon so..

the front started some noise when the oil decided it wanted to burn itself off last year around this time.

everything still works so..when i put the snow tires on soon they make it sound like a school bus so it takes away from the other noises..

looking at outbacks and may get the 1" spacers to go above the struts for a little more lift.

Not trying any weight combinations. The noise didn't change at all with putting the new oil in so I'm just guessing its done for. I have the same noise as you do.

Outbacks have a 1" lift from the springs (if leggy outbacks are anything like impreza OBs) so you can just get the springs and put them on a regular leggy and have OB height.

i tried the gear oil change after it started awhile back.. never went away. on the cold days below freezing it was way more noticeable.

the outbacks at least for my generation did it with a combo of the springs and body spacers to keep the drive line right..i was gonna do the outback struts but then i just decided to go for another car most likely an outback VS throwing money at this one. the spacers i was thinking about getting would be for the outback..give it a little extra ground clearance.

i'm gonna need tires soon plus both the diff noises and the rear cross member that is rotting..out of the whole car minus the sheet metal behind the rear wheel where it meets the bumper there isn't any rust..

not really finding anything suitable for a replacement right now. might just do the outback struts/springs and see what i can find for a replacement subaru in the spring.

Why me? Metal has a red GA too.

Personally Kevin I think the red lens LED tails would of looked better then the chrome ones. BTW how do you like the SD hood?

Yeah they are technically the black housing LED tails. I didn't like the look of the smoked ones. The reds would've looked too stock in my opinion and wouldn't go with my red/black thing I got going on. I'm thinking of either tinting just the chrome part with the red VHT tint. I played around with it in photoshop and it looked pretty good. Or just doing a light coat of black VHT over the whole taillight.

I like the SD hood except it caused problems with the belt/tensioner with the rain getting in the heat vent on the back of the hood. I cut a piece of plexiglass and siliconed up the hole and put some grille mesh over it to seal it up. Other than that I love the hood. It fits great and I like the look of it. I need to get it painted/repaired cause there's some chips along the driver side of it.
