Exactly. Full sweep are generally more expensive for some types of gauges, but more accurate. My autometer full sweep fuel pressure gauge was over $200 back when I bought it. Only had a problem with it once in the 8 years or so I've had it. Think it was an issue with the sending unit in the fuel line, and I ran a bottle of fuel system cleaner and it went away and is back reading normal again. All my other autometer gauges (sport comp series) I've had for 10 years+ with no issues and were all $50 or less.

They aren't really fancy looking, but they are black face and with some red bulbs in them they match my stock gauge cluster perfectly. Only thing I would change to are their led backlit gauges, but they are quite a bit more $.

You can have something fancy looking that burns out or malfunction all the time 'cause it's cheap (kinda the definition of r!ce), or you can have something that's functional/dependable/affordable. Your choice.

That's why autometer is my favorite. Their simple look keeps them clean looking. To each their own though. If I had the money to drop. I really like the Defi-link gauges. Those are just sick. Just like the autometer Nexus line. But for 3 gauges, those gauges are like 800

Haha yeah well im glad i got a new gauge.

Compared to the old one... My new one at idle reads 13 psi higher, cruising at 70 almost 20 psi higher and at WOT, close to 30 psi higher!

It's far more accurate new vs new. I want to put gauges on my TA, but I don't need them yet

locoman99 is infamous around these parts, but not in a good way
So did you put the gauge in all by yourself or did you have to get someone to do it for you because you lack the skills, patience and eventual sense of accomplishment?

Seems like people just need to have the urge to insult people. Drop it already. You just look pathetic now since you're out of insults, you're just pulling them out of your ass now.

But then again why bother saying that, you'll just come back with some stupid sht on me now. Oh well.

yeah i forget where i got the full sweep fuel pressure from but one of the reasons i held off for so long was the $200 price tag. think i got that one used from ebay although it looked pretty new for $130..

upgraded the oil pressure from short sweep to full sweep. most were around $50 except for the fuel and oil pressure. those electrical senders jack the price up.

the white faces match the white faced gauges i got for the dash cluster.
