The SC/T is not a functional hood unless you open the vents.

The "ram air" bullcrap intake with the GT's is useless anyway, buy an actual CAI.

Ive seen some sct spoilers on grand ams around here without an sct hood... do it. I have an sct spoiler on my alero with a stock hood.

I think the scoops in the hood are more for letting cool air hit the motor.

Ive never seen under an sct hood to see if there is a chsnnel that runs to the ram air inlet air box.

Edit I agree with chaos. I think the ram air is useless

The SC/T hoods have panels behind the "mesh" that block ALL air from entering. The scoops are for looks only.

You can take the panels out (I have) but the only real effect is a dirtier engine bay. There are no channels for water flow either. It's nothing more than a couple holes in the hood for looks. My engine doesn't run any cooler than it did before I took out the panels.

Maybe at speed, but only a little. It also would technically increase lift on the front end. It would be better if there was a vent letting heat out of the hood to flow back over the windshield.

my CF SC/T hood has quite the gap on the windshield side.. don't know if it's a vent specifically but air entering through the vents in the front should theoretically leave the backside.

i'll get some pics from inside the car. but i can see in a little bit.. i made little sheet metal blockoff's for the scoop holes i zip tie on when it rains or i'm going somewhere out of town and it happens to rain.

Well, try taking a BUNCH of pics, from different angles. You can flip through filters and find one(s) you like, and use them. It's all about practice, and developing an eye for it, which seriously wasn't supposed to be a massive pun

The more you take, the better you get, unless you're unfortunate and like Sleepy, who always takes 800 pics of the same fender of his car

I took mine with my note 2. The camera on the phone has tons of different filters for pics. Along with hdr. Low light. Panerama. And tons of other things.
