the evil twin!!!

perfect example of what "orange peel" does to reflections. notice the telephone line in the reflection, how it's image is blocky, not very mirror-like.

but it's what's under the hood that counts!! twin turbo 509 lsx. rear mount turbos

the first car wash this kia has had EVER. 16k on the clock. my paint correction mentor, not following his own advice only using one bucket

you'd never know it by this pic, but the paint is in disgusting condition for how new it is. if it reflects this well when it's in bad shape, i cant wait to see it after a detail.

most importantly, i made muh own siggy pix

What Kia? I see a Hyundai badge on the front.

I know what you mean though. I did a little cleaning up on my girlfriends car this weekend. It's an '07 fusion and she's the second owner. She takes it through the car wash occasionally, and vacuums it, but it's probably never had a wax and it shows. Plus it's parked outside all the time, and people in MI are d!cks when it comes to being careful of other peoples cars in parking lots. Her fenders are full of dings and scratches. One of these days when I have some time I'm gonna wash and wax that thing for her. All I had time for this weekend was a vacuum and cleaned the vinyl inside, and polished the headlight lenses.

i followed your advice on the waterspots on the glass. i used 000 steel wool (not sure 000 was the right grade to use) and i rubbed the heck out of some permanent waterspots on the rear glass. not an iota of difference. they're still there. what did you use again?

Surprised you didn't get anything off. Did you use some glass cleaner with it as well?

I just used some ultra fine steel wool for furniture finishing. Doesn't have a number grade on it. It's always taken off most contaminates for me. Not sure what it would do with some really baked on water spots (never had any that bad). The only thing it won't take out for me is some scratches on the passenger side window, but that is from sand that got stuck in the weather strip and scratched the glass, and obviously the steel wool won't do anything about that since the glass is harder.

That's why it's small. Can I make it a little bigger without one of the 'ministrators getting mad?
