I had a 3500 top end with 6000 miles a couple years ago.... new car blew up but was undamaged top end... I paid nothing for it... if none of these guys on here cant replace a top end then sorry you shouldnt be modding a car. As for engine and whatnot im very interested but im putting damn most of my paycheck towards my school loan its paid off.. unless storm messages about wheels ill buy them first

I wasn't making a statement that they all go, I'm phrasing a theoretical situation.

It's very close to being a bolt on replacement to the stock engine.

It's one of the cheapest ways to get 30 extra horses from a single upgrade.

It has engineering changes to improve reliability; forged crank, extra oil squirters, better intake manifold configuration, etc.

Does that mean the 3400 is a garbage engine? Hardly...but if you are just starting to modify/upgrade under the hood...the 3500 swap is a much better first step. If I hadn't put about $1000 in parts/labor into my 3400 a few weeks before HOYS put this engine up for sale...it would've been sold a month ago. I'm invested in the 3400 now.

$750 for everything shipped? if so this is a really good deal,
i spent$600 for a 3500 with 30k miles, about $350 for the swap kit, plus some stuff i had to replace like batery, some sensors, oil spark plugs ect. I spent around $1850 in total to have it all done and thats because i had my friend do it for $500

for anyone interested:

I'll be removing the engine from the car shortly. Within a week or two I'll be going north from Dayton, Ohio to Milwauke. If
you live somewhere near where I'll be traveling I'll transport it to you for a bit more

Ladies and gents the engine is almost out of the car. Deposit isn't required any more. 750 dollars takes it! Lez go!

I hate to keep bumping this but both MMS mounts are off the car and the buyer backed out for the front trans mount.

I'll ship you both mounts and every bit of hardware needed for 200 bucks if you buy it like...tomorrow. If not its getting traded back to Milzy for some store credit.

Thanks!

The mounts are direct bolt on for a 3400 w/ 4t45e correct?

If so, send me a PM...I'm interested in the mounts.

If you are inbetween Dayton, Ohio and Milwaukee, WI then do I have a deal for you! I'll deliver the engine within a reasonable distance from the highway for free! This week only the engine is 650 dollars. Buy it and my HP Tuners Pro which has 6 licences left and you can have both for 1,000.

Let me know!

Dang....that's a steal. I'm tempted to have you drop it off at my sisters house near you. I am interested in your HP Tuners if you want to sell it separate from the engine.....let me know.

Trans and everything is out. My trans was rebuilt with Raybestos Blue Plate Special clutches and all new seals. The torque converter I got for it didn't work out well. I don't want to just scrap it so if someone wants it they can come pick it up for whatever you feel is fair, if nobody wants it I'm going to scrap it. Might just need a torque converter...dunno really.

Can you pm me some info on the trans? Also, I am considering a lx9 swap and want to know if my s/c kit will have any clearance issues. I may look into your combo.
