Here's a little taste of indy. This was the 2012 new years cruise. Police escort on the 465 loop. Lambos. Gtrs. Even an old shelby in there. They just had this cruise the other day as well but no video yet and I didn't go.

I found the following issues:
My front drivers side caliper is leaking, car has a coolant leak at the bottom on the drivers side of the radiator, my rack-in-pinion is leaking, my power steering is leaking, presure hoses are leaking, and the oil leak issue that I noticed yesterday is due to the crank seal leak. It's a bad day for me. Borrowing my dad's truck until I figure out how I'm going to fix all of this.

Winter time fun with the Accord.
![]() It's not that much different than the GAGT was in the snow. It doesn't feel so nose heavy, the e-brake is much tighter (the e-brake utilizes the caliper, unlike the drum e-brake N-bodies have) but overall stability in deeper, mushy snow is okay. The Potenzas are decent, but I felt like they have less bite than my Khumo Solus and Goodyear Eagle F1 A/Ss did on my Grand Am in the snow.

The grand am, as well as most of the gm cars of that era, have rear disc brake but the ebrake is a shoe that fits inside the hub of the rotor, so effectively its a drum brake.
![]() On thing I dislike very much about it.

It works just fine though and it's cost effective. If your e-brake is weak, the shoe adjuster probably needs to be turned out a couple clicks. Mine is really strong. People are always quick to blame the hardware before they've adjusted things properly.

Hey aaron.... here's something for you to figure out.
On my car say there is a steep driveway.... If I pull the car forward up the driveway. Put car in N. Lock e brake the car will roll backwards. Now. If I back up the driveway lock e brake put car in N the e brake holds the car. So why does it work one way but not the other? This is both while parking on the incline. Not on a flat surface

I made adjustments after I threw my Baer rotors on the back, the Accord's e-brake just feels tighter than my Grand Am ever did.

micro-suede headliner in the process
![]() ![]() planning to do the rear side window panels too. i used regular auto-upholstery glue on the plastic trim pieces. wiped them with alcohol first. it's sticking pretty good. ![]() those aren't bubbles. i pulled off the old cloth but left the foam in place. i used a heavy duty sealant for an adhesive. i worked it into the foam, then put the new fabric on. those are areas where it contracted when dry. you can touch them and tel they're not bubbles! and it's still got the softness of the foam backing when you touch it. also, these wrinkles aren't so obvious when the light isn't shining directly on them. ![]() i'm not sure i can take the panel out of the sunroof track w/o pulling the sunroof out, and i dont want to do that. any you guys have experience? ![]() ![]() ![]() the rear shelf. this carpet won't come off easy, so i just smeared it with the sealant stuff, then spread the fabric over. it's so thick that it won't bleed through the fabric, so it's easy to work fabric and stretch it around the curves. ![]() these things are old! Thanks for pointing that out to me Tanner ![]() ![]()

You can just fully open the sunroof and pull the sliding panel out from the top of the car, you might need to bend the panel a little to get it out, its flexible so its nothing to be scared of.
BTW what did I point out? ![]()

Yeah, it is possible they are still just stronger. Depends on the system they are using and how much leverage and force they apply vs the grand am's park brake actuator.

Car's looking good Mac. Replacing the factory speakers is on my "to do" list one of these days. Not looking forward to it. I've thought about doing some more upholstery work as well at the same time, but don't know if I want to go to the trouble. The only fabric actually coming loose on mine is on the sun visors, and those would be difficult to recover and make a good tight fit, without having them professionally done. I did some other stuff using that 3M interior spray adhesive and it works pretty good, but isn't super strong either. It works really well as long as you have something to clamp down the edges to make sure they don't start getting pulled off. I did my center arm rest and side door panels like that. You should be pretty good there, what with how the the fabric folds behind the A-pillar covers and the covers clamp over the corners of the head liner. That should hold it pretty tight. Where did you get the suede from?
